New Moon Libra October 6, 2021

Updated: Dec 23, 2021

Balance Harmony Equality Partnerships Relationships

This month’s New Moon is on October 6 at 7:05 am EDT at the 13th degree of Libra. This day also has a number of other planetary influences that are part the whole picture of this New Moon so I will cover them too.

This New Moon in Libra also makes a conjunction to Mars and quincunx to Uranus. Let’s pull this apart so we can see what we have to work with in regard to setting our monthly goals and intentions which you can do any time while the Moon is waxing but I recommend you get to it within 2 or 3 days of the New Moon.

However there are always exceptions and with all the connection this New Moon makes today I would not write out any goals if I am feeling rushed, but I would make note of how I am feeling in my journal for future reference.

Our main focus will be Libra.

It represents, balance, harmony, equality as well as partnerships and important relationships. It can also be the very opposite energy which is selfish behavior and everything that is out of balance that we are being made aware of. This is the purpose of the New Moon on October 6, 2021. Take your time and find your inner harmony before setting goals, this is what Mercury retrograde in Libra is asking.

Simultaneously Mars and this New Moon along with the Sun are in a hard aspect with Uranus. This 150-degree aspect the quincunx represents disharmony and need for adjustments. It can even, for some people, bring up old family issues and childhood conditions to the surface

so you can address them and find some inner peace and harmony in that situation.
